The MVC Guitar program has been enriching the local Moreno Valley music scene since 2013 through providing guitarists a place and an opportunity to collaborate, study and learn together.  The guitar program has participated in festivals all around the state of California, performed live video broadcasts from the KVCR studio in San Bernardino and has been featured at many of the important college events including: the Presidential Dinner, the Diversity Summit and Welcome Days (just to name a few). 

 

Moreno  Valley College is one of the very few 2 year colleges in the country to offer a certificate in guitar performance!

This certificate program is open to all skill levels.  In fact, many of the students who have participated in this program played their very first notes on the guitar while attending MVC!  Additionally, our Guitar Program graduates are regularly accepted into prestigious university guitar programs around the state.
